Awesome!
Have you read Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Of Love and Other Demons? He deals with some similar issues--in an entirely different way--in that book; the review's summary of your novel reminded me of that, in a good way. I'm really looking forward to reading this!
No, I haven't read that. I'll add it to my list. I always get nervous when people say they're looking forward to reading my book. Or at least the people whose opinions I respect. :)
