No, Mario. I choose character names carefully and finally settled on Seth because it has a slightly, not sinister exactly, but kind of edgy feel to it. Seth is a complicated character.
But I LOVE the cartoonist Seth! His work is fabulous. And I saw him once on the street. He lives in Guelph, ON (about an hour's drive from Toronto). I just happened to be in Guelph and I was sitting in this burrito place having lunch when I spotted Seth across the street. He's easy to spot because no one else wears a fedora and trenchcoat. He looks straight out of the 40s or 50s. I was completely star struck. Anyway, I watched him get into a Chevy Cavalier and just felt so sad. I have made a vow if I ever hit the bigtime I am going to buy Seth a cool car. lol.
Sounds like a neat guy. He could probably use the money. Ran across an article, from a couple of years ago, when his art was stolen that he wanted to sell.

Is Seth, Peg's father in your novel, named after Seth, the Canadian cartoonist?

My oldest son, who is a computer animator at a computer gaming company in southern California, has mentioned Seth before. Just curious. Thanks.
